Scanning for North American Wireless Frequencies

Post by Ukulele_sky »

I recently purchased a RTL-SDR and it is functioning well with all software that i throw at it, but i am drawn to this product because of all of the features and compatibility, as well as Andriod support

Here is my question. I want to scan all North American Wireless frequencies for Microphones, IN-ears, and other FCC approved UHF frequencies at a venue to so we can start managing our frequencies. I have SDRangel on my android tablet and i am currently able to scan, to the best of my ability, but i am quite new to this entire process and i cannot seem to get a scan display covering the entire frequency on a linear graph.
,
I am hoping that someone has published a document on how to scan these frequences and proved a visual graph (chart) of the findings, much like the Shure wireless workbench scanner, for those familiar.

Has anyone outlined the entire process for this specific project type?

TIA
