Hi,
I'm using a RTL-SDR stick to decode data of Radiosondes. I'm also having an old RS41 sonde to test its decoding.
To demodulate (NFM) the Sonde's signal, I'm using SDRSharp (SDR#). I already had been able to use SDRsharp's Audioutput via Windows "Steromix" as input to some other Radiosonde decoders like "SondeMonitor" or "RS41 Tracker". But no so for SDRangel using Device "AudioInput". I managed that SDRangel is receiving SDR#-Audiosignal and display its spectrum. But if opening channel "Radiosonde Demodulator" sadly no Frames are decoded. I played around with Channel Mapping in the device window but without succes.
Does anybody has an idea how I could use SDR# Audio-signal to decode Radiosondes with SDRangels' "Radiosonde Demodulator"?
(I aready used SDRangels method to *directly open my RTL-SDR stick*, NFM-demodulate the signal and finally apply "Radiosonde Demodulator" - working. But out of interest I also want to make the Audio-method mentioned here by the help of SDR# running. Maybe SDR# has a more stabil treatment/demodulation of weak signals than SDRangel. I want to test this)
How to use Audiosignal from SDRsharp?
Re: How to use Audiosignal from SDRsharp?
SDRangel's Radiosonde demodulator expects a baseband IQ signal as input, not an audio signal output from an NFM demodulator.
Re: How to use Audiosignal from SDRsharp?
I see. Is there a reasonably simple method to feed Radiosonde demodulator with SDRSharp's baseband I/Q signal??
