RTL-SDR V4 not in the sampling devices after using the conf

Hi there, Im pretty new to this software and have couple of issues, I just got a V4 version, using windows 11 sdrangel version 7.22.10 and the first time it did recognise the V4 under the sampling devices and I went straight into the configuration presets for the rtl-sdr and is working fine, but now if I try to use it without the presets it doesn't show up under the sampling devices anymore. btw when I start sdrangel it always start with the confiration presets ( ads-b ) i've been trying to start the program like it did when I tried the first time but can't make it happen, it seems like is been grab by the presets ans is not releasing it, maybe this is normal behavior but I'm just lost at this point, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Yes, SDRangel will try to restore the last configuration you used. If you can't see the RTL SDR in the list - it probably means it's already open. Perhaps attach a screen shot.

You can switch to another configuration by pressing the star icon, or just create your own.

Thanks for the reply, I didn't make it clear that I'm trying to use the rtl-sdr without using the presets configuration. But even after closing the current workspace is not releasing the radio. I did find a solution after using a virtual machine in W11 and using a linux distro and then using the command sdrangel --scratch it works. Is there a way to do the same in windows.

You can run sdrangel.exe --scratch from cmd.exe on Windows - however, you shouldn't need to. It sounds like you aren't closing something. As I said, attach a screenshot and it will probably be clear.
