Would be nice to see some APT images captured in SDRangel - particularly if you live somewhere interesting!
What equipment are you using? This was with a USRP b210, Uputronics NOAA/APT preamp, 2MCP8A Yagi on a Yaesu G5500 rotator.

One of my first attempt. Selfmade Antenna from metal scraps, bad weather.[

Re: Show us your APT images
Pretty much like my first attempt, to be fair!
Re: Show us your APT images
This was taken with an rtl-SDR, NOOElec LNA for NOAA and the FM filter. Homemade helical using 18 gauge solid core copper wire from Home Depot, I used my own design after trying the online versions. Wonder why they did it the hard way. SDRangel is an amazing piece of software. I'm running it on the last Intel version of a MacMini with 32 GB of ram. This is great. I'm also running the ADS-B module with a homemade collinear antenna. Awesome!!!

Re: Show us your APT images
Decided to share my antenna info since it seems to work so well and someone might benefit from what I learned. The picture explains a lot. The wire came from Home Deopo at $6.83 at my local store. The frame of the antenna is built per what I found online and should be easy to find. That same sight showed info about the lengths of the loops (short and long). After trying versions that use coax as part of a loop and wrapping it around the pipe for impedance matching I decided it could be done easier. Both loops in my version are the solid copper wire. No Coax. I started making the loops around 5 inches longer than needed for the frequency and then ran a NANOVNA scan to see where it was. Next I pulled the wires attached to the connector ground lug and shorted them about an inch at a time and then ran a VNA scan each time until I got the SWR down to 1.46 at 137.7 Mhz. The reactance isn't too bad either. See pic. The connector is at the bottom of the antenna and I added the angled PVC T to route the coax. 50 feet of RG 213 to a flat feed thru to pass around a sliding glass door and then another 20 feet of RG-58/U to get to my rtl-SDR. Piece of cake

Re: Show us your APT images
Okay, one more. Just discovered I could add the rain layer to the globe image.
