ACARS Demod preview

Very interested in this module. I see a lot of DLL and Windows references. Would this be available with the MacOS client?

Hi all. I wonder if someone can explain the relevance of either Glasgow, Birmingham or Edinburgh showing in the fifth column (mode decode) of the acars demodulator. Thanks!

Supposed to be location of the ground station - could be wrong / out of date though.

Ok, thanks for that. Someone else suggested it may be something to do with 'SITA technology which supply service to airliners in a world wide network'. I had a look and it but sounds a bit complicated to me.
I guess acars transmissions are nothing to do with Shanwick or Iceland for instance as they are hfdl. More logical for ground stations maybe relevant to paticular airline companies I think. Live and learn eh!

I think there are two companies that run the ground stations and networks: SITA and ARINC.

Hi. I've been using the acars program since link provided with no problems at all. I would like to save an aircraft received log to my blog, but it is not ideally readable in a .csv format Is there any way to change the saved format to .txt please. Incidentally, Sorcerer software does save in .txt format but the program keeps crashing on me. Cheers all, Brian.

Hi!. I wonder if there is an acars demodulator in the pipe line for a new sdrangel release please. The preview version only works on Windows and I'm now running Linux only (Ubuntu). Many thanks 73 Brian.
