What SDRs do you use?
What SDRs do you use?
Lets see what's popular amongst SDRangel users.
Re: What SDRs do you use?
I'm using rtl-SDR for APT, SDRplay for ADS-B, & I have an AirSpy HF+ Discovery that I've tried FT8 receiving on. Will try other modes in time. Need to do some more studying so I can use the same radio in a different workspace. Right now when I create a new workspace and try to add a receiver to it I cannot add a receiver that's already been selected in another workspace. It doesn't show up in the drop down list unless I delete it from the other workspace first. I'll figure something out.

You can't use one device (SDR) in multiple workspaces.KRH33S wrote: ↑Tue May 16, 2023 4:05 pm Need to do some more studying so I can use the same radio in a different workspace. You can add multiple channels to a device, and put the channels in to different workspaces.

Adding a new SDR device to an existing system sounds fascinating! I'm also interested in radio and SDR technology, and I'm interested in learning more about your experience and the result of your experiments. If I understand correctly, you are considering using an RTL-SDR USB device and want to know how to hook it up and set it up. I think that's a great idea, and I'd be interested to hear about your progress and accomplishments in this area. I, too, have some questions about SDR devices and their applications. Perhaps you could share your findings and tips on using RTL-SDR and other SDR devices.
