Hey there. Looks like it's been a while since anyone posted so I'll add my recent experience. The pic showing DSC is from running on my Mac with a NOOELEC magnetic loop mounted about 14 feet in the air from my patio, fed through a bulkhead into the house. Then to an AirSpy HF+Discovery. Considering I'm about in the middle of New Mexico I guess it's doing pretty good. Used the 8414.5 first but have switched to 12577 and it seems to do better. All in the conditions. I'm posting the second pic from Inmarsat-C decoder since it shows the DSC frequencies. I'm running the Inmarsat on a Raspberry Pi4b with 8GB ram. Installed SDRAngel on the pi using the instructions on Git-hub. My Inmarsat antenna is built on a 3D printed frame I found on the Internet and I also use the NOOELEC LNA for that purpose. The SDR is also a NOOELEC with always on Bias_T. Fun stuff.
